Introduction

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) injection is available as Vir-Provigil. Bodybuilders use Vir-Provigil to increase the results during the use of anabolic-androgenic steroids. It is often used as a secondary drug by anabolic steroid users. HCG is produced by the placenta during pregnancy. However, the synthetic form can be produced in a lab, by using recombinant DNA technology. Anabolic steroids suppress the production of testosterone in men. However, HCG helps to enhance the production of testosterone in most of the steroid users.

What is Vir-Provigil injection used for?

  • It is used to enhance the results while using anabolic-androgenic steroids.

  • It is used to counteract the negative effects produced by the anabolic steroids.

  • It is used by the bodybuilders to restore the testicular function.

How do Vir-Provigil injections act?

Vir-Provigil contains HCG. It acts by preventing the breakdown of muscle tissues in the user, helping them to build lean muscle mass.

Available forms of Vir-Provigil

The injectable form of Vir-Provigil is an aqueous solution that can be given intramuscularly or subcutaneously.

How to take Vir-Provigil injections?

The usual recommended weekly dosage range for the bodybuilders should not exceed more than 700 to 1700 IU per week. The dosage can also be taken as 100-250 IU per day or 200-500 IU on every alternate day. No added benefit has been observed if the dosage is more than 500 IU per injection. It is recommended to take multiple injections per week as the half-life of HCG about 36 hours.

Vir-Provigil should be administered as prescribed by your doctor. The drug is injected intramuscularly by a healthcare provider. Do not miss the scheduled dosage of the drug. It is not recommended to use larger doses of the drug nor for a longer duration than prescribed.
